Creating long-lasting, robust relationships with our clients is always one of our main priorities. We work hard to ensure our clients' needs are met and that we deliver on our promise to build their mission-critical teams efficiently. A perfect way to measure our performance and know what our customers think is sitting down with them and talking about their experience with Lean Solutions Group.  

We had the incredible opportunity to sit down and talk with one of our clients, Beemac Logistics, while they were visiting their satellite office in Barranquilla, Colombia. Beemac Logistics provides asset-based trucking, logistics, port, warehousing, and specialized hauling services for customers in the U.S.  

Chuck Kuzniewski, Director of Talent Acquisition and Development for Beemac talked to us and shared their experience while working with us, growth, positions, customer satisfaction, efficiency and much more. Here are some of the highlights from our conversation!

What has it been like to work with Lean Solutions Group?

The experience with Lean Solutions Group has been nothing short of a great professional working relationship. We, as an organization, could not have grown without this partnership. Everyone always rolls off the red carpet when we come here. But not only that, Lean Solutions handles the entire process of hiring staff, from training to onboarding, which makes it a lot easier for us. It also allows us to trust Lean Solutions with its own hiring process and training processes. It allows us to trust the candidates coming to us since we know they are quality candidates.

What are some of the positions you have hired with Lean?

Our positions are primarily logistics coordinators; some call them carrier sales. But we are growing and developing, so some of these will grow. There are different variances in that position like tracking and tracing and overnight. We could never have 24/7 coverage and 24/7 visibility to the freight that we’re moving across the country if it weren’t for LSG. Being able to have the amount of talent, the quantity of top-notch, educated, smart, go-getters is something we could never do in the States, period.

Do you think your customer satisfaction levels have increased since you started working with Lean Solutions?

I do, and the reason customer satisfaction grew is because the quality of candidates continues to improve. The teachability, the education, and the talent. There are so many great, young, all-age levels of talent, which is unique, from younger to more veteran. They bring the ability and the talent to be able to relate to all our customers, and in our business, our customers are everybody. Absolutely, (the customer experience) it has just been stronger and getting better because of the wonderful talent that is here.  

Do you think your team at Lean has helped you boost efficiency?

Absolutely our team has definitely helped us achieve greater efficiency. The structure has helped us to do that. The people we have put in place as team leads, managers, and supervisors have helped us grow. We did that process in concert with LSG, talking to them about some unique next steps, what are the right people to put into those roles, and sharing and collaborating with that information. So, yes, efficiency has grown without a doubt.

Do you consider our people, processes, and technology to be in complete strategic alignment?

Yes, I absolutely believe that the people, processes, and technology with Lean Solutions Group are in strategic alignment because we’re constantly working together to find new ways to be able to analyze our results, oversee productivity and performance, and make sure that we have the data, results, and technology that is necessary to be able to not only help our employees, help them grow and develop but allow them to be able to carry out their job. It also allows us to create the measurements, so everybody knows exactly what their KPIs are and what they need to achieve to become “successful.” We’re always working with LSG to make that happen.

What would you highlight the most about your team?

I would highlight personal relationships. The relationship that we have built with the LSG team makes it that much better for us. As we grow, develop, and have more needs, LSG is there to provide those needs. So many different people are willing and able to help, checking, offering feedback, and thoughts, with a smile for everyone. It is a red-carpet treatment that I’m very humbled to be a part of.

What surprised you the most about your visit to your Colombia Office?

The people, the passion, the determination, and the culture. I am always impressed, humbled, and blessed to be able to see a culture of individuals that want to grow and want to develop personally and professionally.  

What do you love the most about working with LSG?

I love the vision. We equally share a great vision. LSG wants to grow with a great set of values and help impact lives. Beemac Logistics wants to do the exact same thing. We want to be a valued organization that grows and impacts the lives of all of our employees, no matter where they are located and no matter what they do. Those goals, vision, and values are what I believe we relish the most from our relationship and partnership with Lean Solutions Group.

The reason why you should work with Lean Solutions Group is that they make the process very simple. They do all the hard work. They bring you great talent and handle the entire process for you. From pay to benefits, everything. They make it so simple. They make it easy to bring on great people and they help you when there are challenges as well, but they give you the freedom and flexibility to help grow and develop that employee because it is an employee of your company.  

What is the next step for the Beemac - Lean Solutions Group partnership?

The next step is growth and getting bigger. Perhaps we find other areas for this partnership and other cultures and countries where we can grow our relationship and impact more lives from which everybody benefits. Everybody at LSG, every employee that is here, of course, our domestic employees and our company. So, that's what’s next, grow and become stronger together.
